Thoughts on playoff hockey & car accidents...

So over the past weekend there was a fatal car accident up in Columbus where I used to live and it’s been causing some controversy in the local car community. The authorities haven’t been very open about details as it’s an ongoing investigation and nobody that was there that night or knows what happened has volunteered any info either. The local media has been trying to report to the best of their ability with limited facts/sources. It’s become a mess needless to say.

All I know is that the guy who died left behind his wife & their 3 girls. He was 30 years old. No matter the circumstances of his passing, it’s a damn shame. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family… :(

Awkwardly changing subjects…

My NHL team, the Columbus Blue Jackets, is having the best year of their existence! They’re currently in 9th place tied with Colorado with 56 points. 38 games to go – crunch time! I can’t even imagine what Nationwide Arena will be like going do the homestretch…rocking for sure. I’m genuinely excited to be a CBJ fan and not be horribly embarrassed.

They play at home tonight again our mortal enemy, the Nashville Predators. I don’t know what it is but the Preds definitely have our number this season for we can’t seem to win a game against them. Oy. Perhaps that tune will change tonight? :)

Tune in…

Go Jackets!
